The World Gymnastics Championships first took place in Antwerp in 1903. Fast forward a century (give or a take a few years) to Glasgow, where the 46th World Gymnastics Championship is due to take place later this month. Events take place over 10 days, which will also see many famous faces from the world of gymnastics not to mention the bright, young, up and coming talent.

All competitors will be pushing themselves to the limit as this Championship is a qualification event for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
