Duthie Park Winter Gardens

Situated on the banks of the River Dee, Duthie Park is a firm favourite amongst the residents of Aberdeen. Visitors can enjoy a walk through the 44 acres of parkland; various children’s play parks and the David Welch Winter Gardens. The winter gardens are an impressive collection of glasshouses, which are home to thousands of different plant, bird and insect species.

With rare and exotic plants from all over the world and one of the largest collections of Cacti in the UK, you can visit the Temperate House, The Corridor of Perfumes, The Fern House, The Japanese Garden and many more. Duthie Park’s Bandstand also hosts several free concerts every year, regularly sponsored by local companies.
