St Giles’ Cathedral

St Giles’ Cathedral or the High Kirk of Edinburgh is the mother church of Presbyterianism and home to the Chapel of the Order of the Thistle.  The Cathedral which is part of Edinburgh’s “Old Town” dates back over 900 years and still holds Church of Scotland Services and welcomes over 400,000 visitors every year.

The church retains most of its ancient character including a wealth of carved ornaments and impressive stained glass windows.
