Situated on the banks of the Dee, Duthie Park is a firm favourite amongst the residents of Aberdeen. Visitors can enjoy a walk through the 44 acres of parkland, various play parks for children and the David Welch winter gardens. The winter gardens are an impressive collection of glass houses which are home to thousands of different plant, bird, animal and insect species. Duthie Park’s Band stand also hosts several free concerts a year, usually sponsored by local companies.
